wagamama launches a new life concept in Nicosia
On the 5th of February 2008, Wagamama, the most well known and popular chain of award-wining Asian inspired noodle restaurants, officially launched the first restaurant to grace the island of Cyprus in Nicosia on 16 Themistokli Dervi Street.

Honoured guest amongst others including national press and Nicosia municipal officials was the mayor of Nicosia Mrs. Eleni Mavrou, who was accompanied by the CEO of PHC Franchised Restaurants Public LTD Mr Lysandros Ioannou. Mrs Mavrou cut the ceremonial ribbon, officially launching the exotic cuisine and opening the kitchen towards the guests who had the opportunity to taste a wide selection of dishes from the menu.
As well as the huge success of the official launch, wagamama has already proved to be a hit here in Cyprus. Since the opening in mid December when wagamama first opened its doors with a warm welcome towards the public the long cues of eager customers waiting to be seated continues…
